Soyez attentifs !

Praha, city of Let It Roll, which each Drum & Bass fan knows, is also hosting numbers of other events of the genre. We went there with much excitement on the 24th of November to witness another Czech festival for the first time : the Imagination Festival, which we were eyeing on since a long time.
A lineup that went beyond our expectations
The lineup (and what a lineup !) was the promise of a night we would not forget. But what we were not expecting was that the event would be beyond our expectations.
We had to make a little walking journey since the PVA Praha Expo was a bit far from the centre of the city but, before we could see the festival, we definitely heard it ! Fluid entry, no queues anywhere, we flew at the speed of light right inside the venue from where our beloved bass were coming from.
When the organisation and sets are more than perfect
It was 9.30pm (event started at 8pm with QO) and Symplex was mixing on the massive Imagination Stage. Even if it was a little bit cold inside at the beginning, we rapidly warmed ourselves up. The organization was extraordinary : the sound was perfectly adjusted wherever you were standing in the building (both in Imagination and Devastator stages), a lot of space to dance, hypnotizing lightshows, no waiting lines, and really welcoming Czech people !
Each sets were special in their own way. Maduk, The Prototypes, Macky Gee, AMC, The Upbeats, Emperor, Pythius vs. Gydra and 3RDKND played one after another, and amazed us on after another. Meets & Greets were organized with each artist of the festival. We missed them but we met and had little chats with Macky Gee and Symplex who were wandering in the middle of the audience, incognito (but not that much apparently !).
Even if it is true that we prefer Drum & Bass, there was an artist from the Devastator stage we wanted to have a quick look on : the young Sefa and his highly melodious frenchcore.
A more than welcomed annoucment
We left the Imagination Festival a little bit before the end, after dancing (and using from time to time the more than welcomed couches) for nearly 8 hours. As soon as we went back to our hotel to rest, we had to start our journey back home to Paris, still astonished by the perfect night we just spent.
Something certain is that we will definitely make this trip again, and maybe sooner than expected since Imagination Festival just announced the launching of their Open Air festival for next summer ! Stay on the lookout !
